A Forehead Lift involves surgery to minimize drooping eyebrows, "hooding" over the eyes, forehead furrows and frown lines that come with age, to give you a more youthful appearance. Candidates include men and women, usually in their forties to sixties, who have visible effects of aging. It can also help people with inherited conditions, such as a droopy brow or furrowed lines above the nose. The procedure involves
an incision, hidden in the hair on top of the forehead. Forehead
skin is then carefully lifted. The skin and muscles that cause the
problems are then removed or altered. Often, a forehead lift can
be performed using very small incisions and an endoscope. This procedure
reduces the risk of post-operative numbness of the scalp and hairline.
