BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a simple, nonsurgical, physician-administered treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people from 18 to 65 years of age. It is one of only two treatments of its type approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). One 10-minute treatment—a few tiny injections—and within days there's a noticeable improvement in moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, which can last up to 4 months. Results may vary.
Candidates include men and women who want to look more youthful and vital. Unlike surgery, BOTOX® Cosmetic is fast, simple and minimally invasive, with no downtime or recovery.
To perform BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment injections, our doctors will determine exactly where to administer several tiny injections to achieve the best results. No anesthesia is required, although a cold pack may be applied prior to injection. The entire procedure takes approximately ten minutes. Discomfort is minimal and brief, and it is unlikely you will develop significant side effects although some patients develop slight temporary bruising at the injection site, which can easily be covered by makeup.
