Dr. Frank Elliott has introduced new techniques in breast reconstruction, as well as significant advances in the TRAM flap method (breast reconstruction using the abdominal tissue). He served as Program Chairman and Director of the internationally recognized Breast Surgery Symposium in Atlanta from 1988 to 2004. Dr. Frank Elliott travels extensively, operating and teaching across the US and internationally. Regarding cosmetic surgery, his experience is extensive. With his knowledge of the most advanced techniques in ultrasonic and traditional liposuction, Dr Frank Elliott, along with his Italian colleagues, have developed a unique system of cannulas which allow for tiny incisions, less dimpling, less pain and faster recovery. His limited scar mastopexy (breast lift) with or without implants offers a woman more youthful uplifted breasts with less scarring than previously possible. In the area of facial rejuvenation, Dr. Frank Elliott chooses the most pertinent procedures appropriate from the myriad options currently available to patients to achieve the best improvement for each individual patient. He graduated from Vanderbilt University Medical School, completed his general surgery residency at Vanderbilt and Tulane, and completed his plastic surgery residency at Emory University. This center features one-on-one anesthesia care by M.D. anesthesiologists from Piedmont Hospital, as well as overnight units with one-on-one nursing care for patients who would like to stay overnight after their surgical procedure
