Juvéderm®
Juvéderm® injectable gel is a safe and effective dermal filler that helps to instantly restore your skin's volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds along the side of your nose and mouth, like your "smile lines" or "parentheses". This non-animal filler is made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance that plays a vital role in hydrating your skin and replenishing its natural volume.
The injection process only takes about 15 minutes and results are immediate. The Atlanta Plastic Surgery Juvéderm® providers will perform a few quick injections to areas around the nose and mouth that thinned out with age. Juvéderm® injections require no anesthesia beforehand; although, a cold pack is sometimes used to minimize discomfort during the procedure. There is minimal downtime or recovery with this treatment and results can last up to six months or longer.
