In order to solve a problem, you first have to figure out where to begin. As a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than twenty years of experience, I have performed cosmetic plastic surgery procedures on thousands of men and women. In that time I have come to believe that the key to almost everything in surgery, and particularly in aesthetic surgery, is defining the problem. Patients will often come to me for a plastic surgery consultation dissatisfied with their appearance, but unable to articulate exactly what they want to have corrected. It is up to me to use my experience and understanding of the underlying anatomy to determine exactly what elements are contributing to the patient’s dissatisfaction with their appearance so that I can then work backwards and find a solution. I provide a more detailed explanation of my approach to addressing the various signs of facial aging in this interview with the Plastic Surgery Channel.

More than anything, you have to go to somebody who has a good concept of beauty, who understands the steps it takes to get there, and who can complete those steps safely and effectively. Whether you simply need non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments, like Botox® cosmetic injections or facial fillers, or require more extensive plastic surgery procedures, like a facelift, breast augmentation, or mommy makeover, carefully formulating a customized treatment plan is the first step towards achieving optimal results. If you are interested in learning what combination of procedures might be best for you, contact me, Dr. James Namnoum, to schedule a consultation and please connect with me on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Instagram for more plastic surgery news and updates.
