An arm lift procedure, also known as a brachioplasty, is the surgical removal of excess skin and fat in order to reshape the upper arms. Arm lift surgery is often done in conjunction with a body lift, also known as post-bariatric surgery, or the surgical reshaping of the body after significant weight loss.

Optimal candidates for arm lift surgery are adults with sagging of the skin in the upper arm area, whose weight is relatively stable and who are not significantly overweight. we do not recommend the procedure for patients who smoke or who have any medical conditions that could impair the healing process or increase their surgical risk. As when undergoing any plastic surgery procedure, patients should ideally have a positive outlook and realistic expectations.
