Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium

**Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we were disappointed to announce that the 2021 Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium was not able to be held this year. While we are obviously saddened to not be able to hold the event, the health and safety of the participants and attendees remains our top priority. We look forward to continuing this annual tradition again in 2022.**

The Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium was founded by Atlanta Plastic Surgery, P.C. Co-Founder Dr. Carl Hartrampf. Dr. Hartrampf was a renowned pioneer in the field of breast surgery, known for his origination of the TRAM flap breast reconstruction method for mastectomy patients.

The Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium is an educational conference sponsored by the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (SESPRS) which allows hundreds of plastic and reconstructive surgeons from around the globe to gather and discuss the latest issues and developments in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. The symposium serves to further educate surgeons on all aspects of breast surgery including: Oncoplastic Surgery (surgery to restore the breast of cancer patients), Breast Augmentation, Mastopexy (Breast Lift), fat injections, Autogenous Breast Reconstruction, Implant Revision, and Complications of Breast Procedures.

The Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium agenda is an all-encompassing lineup of emerging breast surgeries (revisionary, augmentative, and reconstructive.) The Symposium includes representatives from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and The International Society Of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) to facilitate inter-industry communication and surgical peer networking.

The skilled surgeons of Atlanta Plastic Surgery strive to provide exceptional results with all of the breast, body, and facial cosmetic procedures and reconstructive procedures they perform. In an effort to continue achieving these exceptional results, the APS team is continually participating in open forum special education symposia like the Atlanta Breast Symposium.
