Happy Holidays from Our Atlanta Plastic Surgery Family
Since its founding in 1968, nearly half a century ago, Atlanta Plastic Surgery, P.C. has been recognized throughout the medical community as one of the premier cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery centers in the Southeast. Part of that long-standing tradition involves taking some time out, every year during the holiday season, to look back reflect on everything we have accomplished and to thank all of the amazing patients who have made it all possible. No matter whether you are coming to us for breast reconstruction surgery after treatment for breast cancer or simply need some facial rejuvenation to help alleviate some of the signs of aging, your support has always been our greatest inspiration.
We are proud to announce that 2018 will mark the 50th anniversary of Atlanta Plastic Surgery, P.C., and this coming year promises to be an eventful one. Next month, several of our board-certified plastic surgeons will be participating in the Atlanta Breast Symposium, an annual event where leading doctors from around the world share knowledge about the latest techniques in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. Members of our practice have been an integral part of the Atlanta Breast Symposium ever since it was founded, thirty-four years ago, by Atlanta Plastic Surgery, P.C. co-founder Dr. Carl Hartrampf. We feel that this is a great way to reaffirm our commitment to advancing the art and science of plastic surgery through research and education and see it as a great opportunity to help maintain the highest professional standards in patient safety and comfort.
On a less happy note, after nearly thirty years as a board-certified plastic surgeon and otolaryngologist in Atlanta, Dr. Fernando Burstein will be retiring from our practice. Dr. Burstein is world-renowned for cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery. He has helped thousands of children in his capacity as the Director of the Center of Craniofacial Disorders for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and thousands of adults with a variety of cosmetic facial plastic surgery procedures. Dr. Burstein will be moving to Colorado next year, where he will no doubt spend his time hiking and mountain biking with his wife, children, and many dogs. Dr. Burstein’s skill, dedication, and compassion will be missed and we wish him well in all of his future endeavors.
Every one of the board certified plastic surgeons, nurses, physician assistants, and administrative specialists at Atlanta Plastic Surgery, PC look forward to another great year where we can build on the foundation we have established and pursue even greater achievements. We would all like to extend our deepest gratitude to our patients and their families for choosing us and are looking forward to seeing new and returning patients in the year to come! Happy Holidays and have a safe and prosperous New Year in 2018! Be sure to stay up to date with us and the latest plastic surgery news by connecting with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
