An Update on Our Policy around Coronavirus
To our valued patients:
We want our patients to rest assured that we are taking the coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak very seriously. We will be screening patients for COVID-19 symptoms before they enter our facility and are urging anyone exhibiting symptoms or who has potentially been exposed to the coronavirus to stay home and reschedule any nonessential medical appointments. Furthermore, we will only be open for medically necessary appointments at this time. While the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) states that most people who contract the coronavirus will only experience mild symptoms or even be essentially asymptomatic, it is crucial that we all do our part to help control the spread of the virus and minimize its effects.
At Atlanta Plastic Surgery, we place our patients’ health and wellbeing above everything else. We are confident that we can limit the spread of the coronavirus with screening measures and keeping our patients informed, and we urge everyone to be extra cautious during this crucial period of the virus’s spread. The CDC recommends calling your doctor before going in, telling them your symptoms, and taking their advice from there. Almost all medical doctors are experiencing high volumes of patients right now, and your doctor’s office will need to prepare for your visit. Your doctor may even advise that you stay home and monitor your symptoms.
From everyone at Atlanta Plastic Surgery: stay calm, stay informed, and stay safe. We deeply appreciate your patronage, patience, and cooperation during this challenging time. If you have additional questions, please contact one of our Atlanta Plastic Surgery offices. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news and updates on this and a whole host of other issues.
