Atlanta Plastic Surgery’s Surgeons Participate in the 66th Annual Meeting at SESPRS
Two of Atlanta Plastic Surgery surgeons will be key participants in the 66th Annual Meeting of the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (SESPRS). Dr. Franklyn Elliott and Dr. Joseph Williams, two of Atlanta Plastic Surgery’s senior surgeons, will participate in the SESPRS 66th Annual Meeting June 18-22, 2023 in Nassau, Bahamas.
What is SESPRS?
SESPRS is the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. SESPRS is a professional organization of board certified/board eligible plastic surgeon-members who represent eleven Southeastern states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia, as well as Puerto Rico. SESPRS was founded in 1958.
What is the SESPRS Mission?
Its mission is to maintain professional excellence in plastic and reconstructive surgery through quality education. To accomplish that goal, SESPRS holds three educational meetings and one annual meeting each year to increase surgical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
How are Atlanta Plastic Surgery surgeons involved in the annual meeting?
Dr. Joseph Kerwin Williams will moderate a panel on the Future of Craniofacial Surgery during the Craniofacial and Cleft Surgery Symposium on Monday June 18, 2023 at 12:30-4:30 p.m. Dr. Williams is also on the Annual Meeting Planning Committee.
Dr. Franklyn Elliott will deliver the Upchurch lecture on “My Travel Through Plastic Surgery” on Tuesday June 20, 2023 at 10:15 a.m. during the morning session.
