Atlanta Plastic Surgery Surgeons Play a Prominent Role in 2024 Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium
We are proud to announce that Atlanta Plastic Surgery, P.C. doctors will once again play a prominent role in the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (SESPRS) 39th annual Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium. Our experts relish the opportunity to better connect with the larger plastic surgery community and share our unique knowledge for the betterment of patients everywhere. This event, originally established by Atlanta Plastic Surgery practice co-founder, Dr. Carl Hartrampf, always means so much to our practice and we could not be more excited to once again take part in such a special and important conference.
The Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium has grown to include hundreds of delegates from countries all over the world, and has become internationally synonymous with innovations in reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgery. Which is why we are honored to have some of our board-certified plastic surgeons playing active roles throughout the weekend. This includes Dr. James Namnoum, Dr. Franklyn Elliott, and Dr. Michael Mirzabeigi, all of whom will be on-hand at this year’s Symposium moderating panels, presenting topics, and taking part in live plastic surgery demonstrations.
When and Where is the Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium?
The event will take place January 19-21, 2024 at Atlanta’s Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead. The topic for this year’s Symposium is “Optimizing Patient Outcomes.”
What Roles Are Atlanta Plastic Surgery Surgeons Serving at the Symposium?
Dr. James Namnoum (Symposium Program Chair) is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Atlanta Plastic Surgery and an assistant clinical professor at Emory University. Throughout the weekend he will be moderating panels, beginning on Friday with a panel discussion on “Prosthetic-Based Breast Reconstruction.” He will also be participating in the following panels:

Dr. Franklyn Elliott (Symposium Program Co-Chair) is a double board-certified cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon who has been with Atlanta Plastic Surgery since 1983. He begins his participation on Thursday morning January 18, 2024 when he will take part in a live surgery telecast from Northside Hospital showcasing “Secondary Breast Reconstruction.” Dr. Elliott will be moderating or taking part in the following panels:

- Revision Aesthetic Surgery
- Breast Reduction
- Nipple Reconstruction and Secondary Procedures
- Case Reports: How I Handled a Complication in Breast Surgery
Dr. Michael Mirzabeigi (Symposium Faculty) is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has been with Atlanta Plastic Surgery since 2018. He will be a panel member for a discussion on “Autologous Breast Reconstruction, where he will be speaking on the subject, “Managing the Skin Envelope in Autologous Reconstruction.”
