Our Plastic Surgeons Honored as Top Doctors in Atlanta Once Again for 2024!
Reputation is always important, but especially so in the case of medical practices. Whether it’s a routine check-up or a plastic surgery procedure (or any other matter), patients want to be reassured that they will be in the hands of a trustworthy and dependable professional. There are a lot of ways to gauge the reputation of a plastic surgery practice, but perhaps none better than how they are seen by their peers in their field. That is why we are so proud to announce that our board-certified plastic surgeons, Dr. Franklyn Elliott, Dr. Joseph K. Williams, Dr. Michael Mirzabeigi, and Dr. Jonathan Nguyen have been recognized as Top Doctors in the field of Plastic Surgery for 2024 by either Castle Connolly or Atlanta Magazine.
To start, we thought it would be helpful to clarify the differences between the two different Top Doctors designations in Atlanta that our providers received. Dr. Elliott and Dr. Williams were recognized as Castle Connolly Top Doctors®, featured in Modern Luxury’s publication The Atlantan. For over 30 years now, Castle Conolly has been helping to guide consumers to America’s highest-quality doctors, hospitals, and medical practices in a large variety of specialty fields. Their unique nomination and award process involves utilizing evaluations of experienced medical professionals in the honorees respective field, as well as real life testimonials from patients. Once the screening stage has been completed, the selected nominees are chosen by a large panel of physicians, as well as academic medical centers, specialty hospitals, and regional and community hospitals from all over the country. The result is a list of healthcare providers that meet a specific standard of experience, patient care, industry standing, and academic medical research.
Dr. Williams, along with Dr. Mirzabeigi and Dr. Nguyen, was also selected as part of Atlanta Magazine’s Top Doctors 2024. As part of an annual tradition here in Atlanta, Atlanta Magazine and their partners at Professional Research Services (PRS) select the most worthy recipients among the city’s medical community. PRS is an organization that conducts peer-reviewed surveys to locate the highest level professionals within (but not limited to) the medical field within a specific geographic area for over 15 years. All licensed physicians, MDs and DOs, who practice in the Metro Atlanta area are eligible for nomination and only Atlanta-area physicians can vote on the final results.
Congratulations again to Doctors Elliott, Williams, Mirzabeigi and Nguyen! Although our plastic surgeons have received these recognitions many times in the past, it’s not something that we take for granted.
