BOTOX® is Now Approved by FDA for Wrinkle Reduction
BOTOX®, a derivative of Botulinum Toxin Type A, is used to temporarily paralyze various muscles of the face in order to reduce lines and wrinkles. BOTOX® treatment is a simple, non-surgical procedure used to smooth the deep, persistent lines between eyebrows and around the eyes . BOTOX® is a natural, purified protein that is administered through a few tiny injections to relax the muscles that cause lines to form. After BOTOX® you can frown, smile, or look surprised without the furrows, creases, and wrinkles. While the results are dramatic, it will not radically change your appearance or make you look like you have had plastic surgery. Within days the results are apparent and will last up to four months. BOTOX ® is a registered trademark of Allergan, Inc.
The procedure is carried out in the APS office by our Physicians and Certified Physician Assistants.
